Solid Carbide Drills
ISCAR has introduced a new, high quality line of solid carbide drills.
Features:
• Range of 3-20 mm in length to diameter ratio of 3xD & 5xD.
• Right-hand cut with and without internal coolant nozzles.
• IC08 submicron substrate.
• Most advanced TiAlN coating for best hole quality, high performance reliability and economical output.

The new solid carbide drills were designed and produced according to DIN 6537 standard.
There are two new designations for easy product identification:
“SCD…” (Solid Carbide Drill)
“SCDR…” (Solid Carbide Drill Reamer) Specifications:
“SCD” drills:
m7 drill diameter tolerance, shanks according to DIN 6535 standard, for ISO P materials with 30° flute helix and 140° head point angle, reinforced web thickness and standard web taper.
“SCDR” drills:
DIN 1420 standard to H7 hole accuracy, shanks according to DIN 6535 standard, for ISO K materials (ferritic only), with straight flute and 140° head point angle, reinforced web thickness.
